VentiPaw is a pet cardiac health monitoring app developed by Dave Mitchell. Your privacy is important. This policy explains what data the app accesses, where it is stored, and how it is used.
VentiPaw stores the following data that you enter:
All of this data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers and we do not receive, transmit, or have access to any of your data.
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your data automatically syncs to your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. This data is encrypted and accessible only to you through your Apple ID. Apple's privacy practices govern iCloud storage. We have no access to your iCloud data.
VentiPaw requests camera access to detect your pet's breathing movements using the device camera or LiDAR sensor. Camera frames are processed entirely on-device in real time. No images or video are saved, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere.
VentiPaw requests microphone access for the Heart Listen feature, which listens for your pet's heartbeat. Audio is processed entirely on-device in real time. No audio is recorded, saved, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere.
If you grant notification permission, VentiPaw sends local push notifications for medication reminders and breathing rate alerts. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and do not involve any external server.
VentiPaw Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information. Apple's privacy practices govern purchase transactions.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with any third parties. Your pet health data is yours alone. The only external system that ever touches your data is Apple's iCloud infrastructure (see iCloud Sync above), which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
VentiPaw contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting services, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not track users across apps or websites.
Your data is retained on your device and in your iCloud account for as long as you use the app. You can delete all data at any time by deleting the app. If iCloud sync is enabled, you can also manage or delete your iCloud data through your device's iCloud settings.
VentiPaw does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no user accounts and no data leaves the device or the user's private iCloud account.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
